May 31: event for Maggie’s Centre Aberdeen

Maggie’s was founded 15 years ago by a woman and her family in Edinburgh to create a space for those battling cancer . The first one that was built was the Edinburgh Centre. Since then Maggie’s has expanded to 15 centres in the UK.
These centres are designed to empower the patients, their families and friends to make their way through the cancer and come out the other side. They are an adjunct to the hospice centres and are a wellspring to promote healing and support for all these individuals.
The newly built Maggie’s in Aberdeen will be opening the Summer of 2013.
